I know but like the same exact placement. I suck at making characters and weapons but luckily, the program i use allows sprites wich is a good thing i guess. Whats Tweening?

I know but like the same exact placement. I suck at making characters and weapons but luckily, the program i use allows sprites wich is a good thing i guess. Whats Tweening? I use Macromedia Flash (the program pro's use). It's very flexible, and very expensive. i semi-rotoscoped your gif. thats why it looks so similar. but it's not completly rotoscoped. for example, in the first first seconds, the guy jumps and rolls on the floor, he pauses, gets in a stance, and phases out. while in mine, he jumps down and slashes. he does a kartwheel flip through the air, and phases out at the last second. also, u used long range weapons were ninjastars and/or arrows, while mine was a .500 tauras revolver, and an AWM sniper rifle. --- I commend you for making such a complex animation without macromedia flash. I don't know what I'd be able to do without it... lol.. Tweening saves alot of time but never comes out quite right. but I work with unique techniques so it's not really pure tweening. it's kinda... hybrid. I tween to save time, and fbf to get my detail. === === === So in reality, we're 2 totally different animators. Your a gif animator, I'm a flash animator. However, being a flash animator I can convert stuff to gif. (then again, in theory u could convert gif to flash but it's hardly convinient).

.... don't act like an idiot. You don't work at a differen't fps for flash games than flash movies. btw i calculated it myself, u work at 12 fps so nvm Edit: Remade ur animation in my style for the hell of it. This was quite a challenge... didn't fine tune it, so there will be alot of screwups in it =P i know the floor is solid. and what do you mean he breaks the law of inertia? i know what it is but just explain what you mean. The fact that after he stabs him in the head, he does a flip? he's showing no orbital motion before he stabs the sword into the guys head right? (meaning his body is not spinning). but he flips in mid-air right after stabbing him (not possible). he then he jumps again very high, (not bending his knees enough to actually propell himself up that much). he isn't showing that much orbital momentum, but suddenly midair, he triples his flipping speed and manages to flip twice. He then stops his rapid-flipping nearly instantly and the animation repeats. There's bending the laws of physics (giving the animation a nice looking effect), then theres breaking the laws of physics (usually does no more than make the animation look ackward and makes it look as if it were poorly made). poor dude got pushed off a cliff

I couldn't resist! Lol, this sort of animation reminds me of how bad it is to use fire-colored muzzleflashes. ALWAYS use white muzzleflashes (unless your dealing with something like... a black powder flintlock pistol XD). White muzzleflashes look so awsome.
